The Marce Society of North America is committed to advancing the understanding, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders and mental health related to the perinatal time period in both the scientific community and our greater society.
The Mission of the MONA Society is to promote, facilitate and communicate research in all aspects of the mental health of pregnant and postpartum women and birthing people, non-birthing parents, their infants and their families around the perinatal time period.
This time frame involves a broad range of research activities ranging from basic science through health services and development of best practice models of care and prevention. The Society also encourages the involvement of consumer groups with similar goals.
