Bio: Dr. Palacios Hernández has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM) and a Doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona ​​in Spain. Dr. Palacios Hernández, a Research Professor at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, coordinates the perinatal mental health laboratory. Dr. Palacios Hernández's line of research focuses on mental health in adults, especially in the perinatal stage, with an emphasis on the evaluation and analysis of maternal psychopathology and its associated factors. In addition, she studies the quality of the mother-child bond in the postpartum stage and designs and adapts mental health instruments and strategies. Currently, Dr. Palacios Hernández is co-president of the International Consortium of the Stafford Interview in Maternal Mental Health, a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico with level 1, and is part of the International Marcé Society of North America with membership in the Marcé Society of North America, the Ibero-American, Latin American and Mexican networks of Perinatal Mental Health.
